The Boston Bruins have played their first two preseason games and so far it’s been a mixed bag. That’s to be expected though with a team that has had so much turnover and has a new coach. I wouldn’t put too much stock in the first two preseason games in a normal year, never mind this season. Some observations…

The Boston Bruins lost game 6 of the Eastern Conference semi finals to the Florida Panthers and have been eliminated from the playoffs. It was a hell of a season for the Bruins. They finished second in the division and had 109 points on the season. They beat their old foe, the Toronto Maple Leafs, in the first round, costing the Leaf’s coach his job, and put up a fight against the division winning Florida Panthers. Let’s look at where the Bs stand as their season comes to an end.
