Why Aaron Judge is the AL MVP

With the World Series coming to a close, there is just one more thing to be settled before the Major League Baseball offseason can officially begin.  That one thing is to determine who was the American League MVP.  Was it Cal “Big Dumper” Raleigh of the Seattle Mariners or is it Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees?  Let’s dive in and figure out why it’s clearly Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees.

My Yankees Offseason Plan

The New York Yankees season ended a lot earlier than we had hoped. Seems like just yesterday torpedo bats were the talk of the sports world and now we are talking about the offseason. Let’s talk about what the Yankees should try to do and what they will probably do to load up for next year’s run at their 28th World Series title.

Celtics Preseason Game 4 vs Toronto

The Boston Celtics played their 4th and final preseason game last night when they defeated the Toronto Raptors 110-108 on an Xavier Tillman last second shot.  The Raptors were nice enough to play their starters in this one so we got to see what the Celtics new guys will look like playing actual NBA players.  Let’s see what we learned.

Celtics Preseason Game 2 vs Toronto

The Boston Celtics played their second preseason game of the year when they lost 105-107 to the Toronto Raptors.  The Raptors sat their starting five so we still haven’t had a chance to judge the new Celtics against actually NBA competition but it’s to be expected in the preseason. But this is all we have to go off of so let’s dig in.

The Boston Celtics Preseason Game Number 1 vs Memphis

The new look Boston Celtics played their first preseason game of the year and defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 121-103.  It was our first look at most of the new players and the new style of play.  Here are a few observations from the game.

Yankees vs Blue Jays Game 4 Live Thoughts

Well, they staved off elimination in game 3 now they have to do it one more time. Hopefully they can score some runs, preferably early so they can take some pressure off of Schlittler and get a nice easy win. Let’s see what happens. If you are new, these are my real time thoughts as I watch the game. No editing or revising just what I am thinking as I am thinking it.

Yankees vs Blue Jays Game 3 Live Thoughts

The Yankees face elimination as they return to the Bronx looking to extend the series against the Blue Jays. Hopefully this will go a lot better than the games in Toronto went. The Bombers got the bats going a bit in game 2, hopefully they will stay hot for game 3.
