Well, they staved off elimination in game 3 now they have to do it one more time. Hopefully they can score some runs, preferably early so they can take some pressure off of Schlittler and get a nice easy win. Let’s see what happens. If you are new, these are my real time thoughts as I watch the game. No editing or revising just what I am thinking as I am thinking it.

–Pregame

   —As I said before, the Yankees don’t have to win three games in a row, they have to win ine game. They have to win tonight.

    —I hope the Yankees don’t expect Schlittler to be as effective as he was last time out. That Red Sox team loved the strike out all season. It was the perfect match up for him. Tonight is going to be different. Could be a lot of foul balls and a high pitch count. Gonna need the bullpen even if he pitches well. 

    —I am not surprised the Yankees won last night as they needed to play today so I would have 4 games to try to watch tonight. Gonna be a loooong night.  

–Top 1

    —Please don’t let Boone screw this up. If they get outplayed, fine. Don’t lose because of Boone.  

    —These aren’t the Red Sox

    —Great catch. Ok inning. Maybe stop throwing the Cutter.

–Bottom 1

    —Gotta hit. Early and often.  

    —I really, really wish they would bat Judge 3rd

    —The guys around Judge have to hit.

    —No Marlins Jersey guy tonight. Seats are empty, maybe he’s running late.  

    —Just as I wrote that I look up and there’s Marlins Jersey guy. Good to see he made it.

    —Look what I found.

    —Another good inning. Have to keep getting the guys at the bottom of the order out.

    —Hit got hit twice with the same pitch.

    —Volpe doesn’t need that.

    —Good job having Vlady bat with the bases empty.

    —Good quick inning. Gotta score some runs now.

    —Wow!!! McMahon!!!!!!  

    —Great to get some unexpected production.

    —Schlitter really needs an off speed pitch he trusts. Would get him to the next level

    —This ump hasn’t been terrible but he’s been the worst ump in this series. That says more about the other 3 umps than him.  

    —Schlittler finally mixing in the curve ball.

    —It would be a sin for Judge to bat with men on base.

    —Playoff Stanton not showing up has really hurt.
