So here we go again. It’s win or go home for the Yankees. They’re gonna have to score more than 1 run if they want to keep playing. If you’re new here, these are my unedited thoughts in real time during the game. No edits or changes aside from fixing type-Os as I suck at typing on my phone.  

–Pregame

    —The Yankees should move all the clocks in the stadium back 6 hours and hope Bello thinks it’s a day game.

    —I have zero confidence in Rodon. I know he’s been really good all season but I still don’t trust him. At least not in a win or go home game.

    —This is the type of game Boone can really screw up. Let’s hope the Yankees score big and early so he can’t cost them the game.  

    —Yankees back to their normal line up with the righty on the mound. It’s the time of year where you have to dance with who brought you. This line up got it done all year. Hopefully they can be productive tonight.  

–Top 1

    —Steve Schirripa aka Bobby Bacala with some good seats behind the Sox dugout

    —Good start. Now let’s put up a 6 spot.  

–Bottom 1

    —I would have rather had Rice bat second and Judge 3rd.  

    —Swinging at first pitch for a pop up. Not learning their lesson from last night.  

    —That pitch was awful. Bello lucky Belli didn’t crush it

    —Rice Rice Baby!!!!   

    —Maybe being aggressive is the way to go

    —They can’t go the rest of the game without scoring now. Gotta keep adding on.  

–Top 2

    —Great inning. Way to keep the pitch count low.  

    —Way to get Bello back on the mound and the offense right back on the field

–Bottom 2

    —Jazz with the Straw Hat pendent tonight. I still think the people at Yankee Stadium should play Luffy screaming “Gum Gum Rocket” or “Gum Gum bazooka” when Jazz homers.  

    —Swinging at the first pitch looks great when you get hit. When you don’t it looks awful. I’m not against it, just pointing out the optics.

–Top 3

    —Can’t be walking guys. Especially that guy.

    —Ugh.

    —Told you I didn’t trust Rodon

    —Hey look Bregman up in a big spot again. Just what the Yankees need.

    —Huuuuge. Now hit!!!!

–Bottom 3

    —Nice. Now they can’t waste a McMahon actually getting a hit.  

    —I was shocked to find out today that Grisham is a much better hitter in the road than he is at Yankee stadium

    —Wow. I guess there was no need to try and get Bello’s pitch count up.

    —Grisham not much of a base stealer. Nice to force the infield in and get rid of the double play.

    —Needed to get that run in from 3rd. Little things will kill you in post season.  

    —Stanton should be hitting behind Bellinger so they wouldn’t have had this “lane” for the lefty reliever. 

    —Ugh!!! Have to score!!!!!

–Top 4

    —There is a big difference between the Aarons and the Alex’s….the Aarons aren’t cheaters.

    —Rodon’s pitch count starting to get up there.  

–Bottom 4

    —Gotta hope one of the relievers the sox are gonna have to use just doesn’t have it tonight. It’s always the risk you take when going to the pen early. Hopefully none of them will have it tonight.

    —That pitch was middle middle. Stanton just missed it.  

    —When you consider there were no playoffs when Mantle or Ruth played, just a World Series, their numbers are so much more impressive.  

    —Really need to score some runs.

–Top 5

    —Great pitch

    —Nice quick inning.

    —Gotta get some guys on base for when Judge comes up.  

    —I hate Volpe’s pitch selection. It’s his biggest problem

    —Ugggghhhh. That pitch was middle middle. Missed his spot bad. Judge needs to crush that.  

    —Can’t imagine he gets something to hit now

    —I would love hitting with 2 outs and men on base. So many extra RBIs. No way he scores with less than 2 outs there.  

–Top 6

    —This is why they need to keep scoring when they get the chance. 1 run leads are useless

    —Middle middle fast ball and unlike the Yanks, he didn’t miss it.  

    —This is gonna backfire

    —Huuuuuuuuuuge double play. Way to go Rodon!

–Bottom 6

    —It ain’t how hard you hit it, it’s where you hit it.

    —Wells checking in.

    —How do you take that?!??!?

    —Awful at bat.

    —Someone on the Yankees needs to get a big hit at some point

    —Was I supposed to know who those 2 guys were?

    —Now is not the time to start walking guys

    —Rodon should not have started the inning. Boone letting what happened last night affect how he’s managing this game.  

    —Cruz is so hit or miss. Hopefully he’s a hit tonight

    —Gotta finish it off

    —Again, never slide into first base unless you’re avoiding a tag

    —McMahan’s pitch selection isn’t any better than Volpe’s.
