There will be a game 5. Here are my running thoughts for game 4. If the Yankees make history this will go down in history as the Volpe game.

–Pregame–

–As I said, the Yankees don’t have to win 4 straight games. They don’t have to make history or do the impossible. They have to win one game. All they have to do is win tonight.

–I missed the first batter of the game because streaming sports sucks

–Top 1–

–I knew Gil had control issues, didn’t know he lead the league in walks.

–Oh goodie, it’s raining.

–You gotta be kidding.

–Maybe it’ll get rained out and they can start over tomorrow

–Freeman sprained his ankle weeks ago. He wasn’t hit by a fucking truck. Get over it.

–Bottom 1–

–Can we score some runs before the 9th

–Freddie Freeman never closes his mouth

–At least that was a good at bat by Judge

–Who needs hits with runners on base anyways

–Top 2–

–Oh god, Xmas commercials

–Getting guys on base is cool. You know what’s cooler? Driving them in

–Volpe thought he caught the ball. He actually tagged up.

–Smoltz needs to google the Fallacy of the predetermined outcome.

–Stanton either homer or Double play here. I’m betting the latter

–The way the Yankees hit into double plays the walk makes it harder for the Yankees to score.
